Sara Jean Underwood Modelling Career
Born in Portland, Oregon, Underwood graduated from Scappoose High School in 2002 and attended Oregon State University. After appearing in the October 2005 Girls of the Pac 10 pictorial, she next was featured in the July 2006 issue as Playmate of the Month. Playboy later selected Underwood as its Playmate of the Year for 2007. Underwood ranks 25th on the list of "25 Hottest Playboy Celebrities."

Prior to the July 2006 issue, Underwood was featured in episode 2 of E! Network's The Girls Next Door as a Playmate hoping to have her test shoot taken at Playboy Studio West. She has subsequently appeared in several additional The Girls Next Door episodes.

In response to Underwood receiving the 2007 Playmate of the Year title, a group of students from her alma mater’s Women’s Studies department decided to celebrate her accomplishment, and recognize a fellow OSU Beaver. On June 7, 2007, the students hung a poster of Underwood outside of Bexel Hall. The poster, coordinating with the “Achievement” theme of other posters hung around the campus, read "Sara Jean: First OSU Beaver Playmate of the Year, Playboy June '07, OSU Centerfold, People, Ideas, Innovation." Campus officials, however did not see the poster as a proper fit, and it was removed within a few hours of going up

The Chance To Get Ahead

3 1/2 years on the road Obama has us on has been enough David.

The choice in this election is between an economy that produces a growing middle class and that gives people a chance to get ahead and their kids a chance to get ahead, and an economy that continues down the road we’re on.
Put me in the get ahead crowd.
To steal a line from Maggie comparing the last administration:
Not all of it was good, but all of it was better. ALL OF IT.

Obama Has Been An Unmitigated Disaster

So says Dick Cheney.
I was born and raised in Casper WY and lived not far from the Cheney's (although I have never met any of them) so I may be a bit biased, but Cheney is good man and spot on.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney walked onstage without any assistance and spoke for an hour and 15 minutes without seeming to tire in his first public engagement since he underwent a heart transplant three weeks ago.
He sat in a plush chair throughout the long chat with daughter Liz Cheney but looked better, even, than during recent appearances where he has been gaunt and used a cane.
Cheney even threw in a couple of political plugs amid much reminiscing at the Wyoming Republican Party state convention in Cheyenne on Saturday.
He said presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is going to do a "whale of a job." He said it's never been more important than now to defeat a sitting president and the Republican Party should unite behind Romney.
"He has been an unmitigated disaster to the country," Cheney said of President Barack Obama.
Cheney's heart transplant in Virginia on March 24 initially canceled his trip to the state party convention but he got last-minute medical clearance to go.
God bless you Mr. Cheney.

Democrats Stand Their Ground

Big irony alert.

From the article by Mr. Hawkins:

Amid Democrat attempts to use the Trayvon Martin shooting as a means to push for the repeal of Stand Your Ground laws, it’s been interesting to note how many Democrats have a past that includes support for them.

For example, on April 2nd, I had a post on Big Government that highlighted how former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat, used her Current TV show to lambaste Stand Your Ground laws, and to blame Republicans for the existence of such laws in the first place. However, as I showed, the dirty little secret is that Granholm signed Michigan’s Stand Your Ground bill into law in 2006.
They are liberal Democrats in the mold of Obama, everything  has a expiration date...
Now it’s been discovered that an even more prominent Democrat, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, signed Arizona’s Stand Your Ground bill into law while governor of that state in 2006. And it’s important to note that Napolitano didn’t sign the bill half-halfheartedly, rather, she even countered anti-gunners’ opposition in the signing.
Either they have memory problems or think the internet does.
